How long have you been working together?
My husband and I have been shooting together for over nine years and I have been shooting weddings myself for eleven! We have been working together for so long we have a "system." We each have our own style but we know each other so well we can just look at each other and know what needs to be done! Having two photographers makes a big difference in capturing all the important details of your day. Most importantly we can be in two different places at the same time!
Why pay a professional?
You are paying for our time and expertise and experience photographing your wedding. After the wedding day is over I spend 20-30 hours editing the images correcting color, lighting and perfecting each image.
Do you shoot portraits in a studio?
Portrait sessions take place in a location of your choice. When you are in a comfortable place, you look more natural and relaxed.
Do you shoot film or digital?
I use top of the line digital cameras but still have our film cameras, so if you want film just ask!
Will you be the photographer at our wedding?
We shoot all the weddings we book. We never shoot more than one wedding in a weekend so our focus is on you and your special day.
How do I make a payment?
Payments can be made online with a credit card or with a check. All booking is first come first serve.

How long does a portrait session last?
Most sessions last one or two hours. Bridal portraits last about three hours.
What happens if my child is fussy or uncooperative?
I have children of my own! Need I say more? I always work around your children's schedule but if they are having a bad day we can always reschedule.
Do you travel?
We are pleased to serve all areas of Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. We travel to DC and North Carolina for a small fee.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Yes!
